Her medical story: Gabby was having severe allergies that sent her down a rabbit hole of testing that ultimately was diagnosed as a skin reaction to a particular kind of medication.

How we helped: The Denver Actors Fund paid down Gabby’s out-of-pocket medical bills by just more than $1,500. Additionally, she is benefiting from the Denver Actors Fund’s affordable mental health-care pilot program. To date, our overall support to Gabby totals $2,215.64.

‘THE DENVER ACTORS FUND TOOK A WEIGHT OFF MY SHOULDERS THAT I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE TO CARRY ALONE, AND FOR A LONG TIME.’ – GABBY LENTINI

A message from Gabby: “The Denver Actors Fund took a weight off my shoulders that I thought I would have to carry alone, and for a long time. Not only did they help set me up with affordable (and valuable) mental-health services, they also completely paid off my medical debt. After a year of unresolved doctors’ visits and a hefty bill, I felt hopeless, but the DAF helped me find the hope again. I am forever grateful to the Denver Actors Fund for the work they do for the incredible Colorado theater community.”
